Who's going to the open house,If we get some intrest maybe we could rent a bus and all go together or get a couple of vans.I think it would be a blast and a way of saying thanks to the Helger bunch for the show they put on for us on the track and after the sun goes down. Cheesy

Sounds like a plan. It would be a good thing and alot less expensive than going down on your own. You figure gas and tolls alone would cost a bit more than a bus or van... Plus you would't have to drive Cool Cool Cool

I plan to take the Buick, Robin probably will not go.

There will be room for at least 2 more riders if anyone needs a ride.

I plan to leave my house at about 6:00AM Saturday,
Arrive in Augusta area at about 7:30 and at Helgers shortly after 12:00noon.

I remain flexible, but will probably spend Saturday night there and come back Sunday AM.

Accuweather forecasts for Saturday show light snow/rain showers 1-3" in Winterport,
1" or less in Portland, Boston, and Little Compton.  Grin
Lowest temps anywhere don't go below 31 and the average is close to 40!!  Grin

Any snow that falls with those temps will melt as soon as it hits the pavement. Grin

Certainly not enough to change my plans!!

We hope to meet the Whitaker crew on 295 just after it seperates from the turnpike between 7:00 & 7:30.
If we are late, they may go on and we'll catch them later.

Great Show!!

MUCH MORE than worth the trip!!  Grin

I have posted about 180 pics of SOME of the collections in ONLY 4 of the buildings! There are several more!
Not just race cars, dozens of collector and muscle cars, the largest collections of outboard motors, metal vintage "toy" vehicles, and "go-fast-goodies" I have ever seen!  AND MUCH MORE!! Grin

Everyone involved went all out to make it a special event for us.

Great displays, Great food, and GREAT PEOPLE!!  Grin

Thanks to ALL involved.  Grin Grin
